One tap from China to Seoul.

Use YouTube, KakaoTalk and Netflix the way you do in Korea. The PassLab app connects in stealth mode first, which looks like ordinary HTTPS, and switches to WireGuard on its own when that doesn’t work.

A connection the firewall struggles to spot

China’s firewall looks for connections that look like a VPN and blocks them. PassLab makes its connection look like an ordinary visit to an HTTPS website.

Stealth first

The app connects in stealth mode first, which looks like ordinary HTTPS.

WireGuard as backup

On networks where stealth doesn’t get through, the app switches to WireGuard by itself. You never pick a protocol.

A key for each device

On first connection, each device makes its own key and stores it encrypted. No config files, no server addresses to enter.

Servers

PassLab runs its own servers. Right now there’s one, in Seoul. Japan and the US are in preparation.

Questions

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes. A PassLab app for iPhone is coming to the App Store. Once it’s out, get ‘PassLab’ from the App Store and tap the power button, just like on Android. VPN apps can’t be listed in the China App Store, so download it with a Korean or other non-China Apple ID.

Do I have to choose a protocol?

No. The app tries stealth first and switches to WireGuard if that doesn’t work. Once connected, the screen shows ‘스텔스 연결’ (stealth) or ‘WireGuard 연결’.

How many devices can I use?

There are 1-device and 5-device plans. On the 5-device plan you can mix phones, tablets and PCs. Need more? Add another plan.

Do you keep logs?

Our servers don’t record the sites you visit or your IP address. We keep only device registrations and the time each device was last used.

When will Japan and US servers open?

They’re in preparation. When they open, an app update adds them to the server list.

Where do I get the app?

Android and Windows: from the link we send after you sign up (an APK file and a ZIP file). iPhone: from the App Store (coming soon).

Is the app in English?

Not yet. The app is in Korean for now, but day to day you only use the power button.
